Task and Outcome: Building on the success of Outer Banks Season 3 and the inaugural Poguelandia event, Netflix wanted to create another culture defining moment to launch, promote, and celebrate season four of the highly popular series whereby establishing Netflix as the place for Gen Z content. We kicked off Outer Banks Season 4 Part 1 by bringing the premiere “home” to Charleston with a Hollywood style premiere for local fans and crew. A few weeks later in Los Angeles, Poguelandia returned for a second year in anticipation for Season 4 Part 2. The fan-centric musical festival brought 2,500 fans of the show to Barker Hangar for a day in the life of a Pogue, complete with content moments galore, exclusive giveaways, inworld food and beverage, musical performances including Remi Wolf, GloRilla and Jungle, and of course chances to meet and interact with the show cast.
